An additional component of the SATs, especially for students seeking top-tier schools, are the exterior sources of pressure that they encounter. One of the most prevalent ones could be the students own family. Though they are there to provide support to the student throughout his or her college admission journey, this support can cause the student to feel that they will let their parent or guardian down if he or she does not receive the desired score. Encouragement from their parents or guardians may only build on the pressure that they are already facing.
